Privacy Policy
How Passport collects, uses, protects, and deletes account and product data.

What Passport collects
Passport collects the account information you provide, including your email address, username, display name, biography, and profile photo.
Passport stores content you create, including city rankings, Queue entries, Experiences, lists, Arcs, route stops, spot recommendations, photos, comments, likes, saves, follows, blocks, and reports. When you choose to add coordinates to an Arc stop, Passport stores the latitude and longitude you enter; Passport does not collect continuous background location.
We collect basic product events and technical information needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Passport. When you use an invite link or code, Passport stores referral attribution so the inviter can see how many people joined through their invite.
How Passport uses information
We use information to provide accounts and public profiles, personalize social and city discovery features, operate safety systems, respond to support, prevent abuse, attribute referrals, and improve the product.
Public profile information and content you mark public may be visible both inside Passport and on public joinpassport.app share pages. Email addresses, blocks, reports, private content, and precise Arc-stop coordinates are not displayed on those public pages.
Service providers
Passport uses service providers, including Supabase and Netlify, to host authentication, databases, storage, server functions, public pages, and waitlist forms. Passport does not sell personal information to advertisers.
Retention and deletion
We retain account data while an account remains active and as needed to provide Passport. Users can delete their account inside Settings. Deletion removes the profile and associated user content, invite code, and referral records from active systems, subject to limited legal, fraud-prevention, security, or backup obligations.
Your choices
Users can edit their profile, choose whether supported content is public or private, remove content, block users, submit reports, change their password, revoke device permissions, log out, or delete their account.
